My shining light

After writing about apathy and it;s deleterious effects, I realized this morning that I have not done much to share positive examples of people making a difference in the world and might better serve by doing so.
There are many who care and actually take action to make the world a better place for all,~no really they are among us.~

So...., I am going to kick off this, more positive, direction of this little blog by introducing you to someone who amazes me. Someone who acts a guiding light for me towards all that is good and right in the world. Someone who exemplifies how we each in our own way can -and I feel should - take action for the good of all when and where we can.

This person is my daughter, Mary.
The best way I can find to share her spirit with you is to direct you to her blog which exposes her character far better than I would be able.  Please take a look:

Henry IV. Part I, 1597:
Hotspur:
And I can teach thee, coz, to shame the devil
By telling truth: tell truth and shame the devil.
If thou have power to raise him, bring him hither,
And I'll be sworn I have power to shame him hence.
O, while you live, tell truth and shame the devil!
